A meme circulating around Facebook about one's Top 25 Most Influential albums needs new life here, if you'll allow the indulgence. These're in chronological order. This might help explain my musical weirdness, or it might just confuse you:

love this list.
I grew up in Whidbey Island so I took special interest in the early years.
Check out AM. great lyrics. It's Been So Long, I Want Someone, and Stepping Stone-- all my faves.
I am definitely getting too old for this when I'm the first to say that it's not Roxy Music. It's T-Rex.
I will now go and put on my slippers and dressing gown, light my pipe and go back to the shadows. No country for old men.
Anonymous,
I feel your Washington Pride. You'll be pleased to know that I lived there until 2007, so all lists but the last have local influence. <3
Derek,
*checks CD* we were both wrong! It's Placebo covering (OK, you were right on this one) T-Rex. Oh, Marc Bolan.
Love,
June
