Wow, just wow. This person Jax de Leon took Sufjan Stevens' Illinois and visually graphed every single musical aspect of it. Everything from lyrical content to note frequency to instrumentation. According to Jax, "This project is an experiment in taking an audio recording of music that is beautiful and personally meaningful to many listeners, deconstructing it from different vantage points, rearranging it, and building it up again into visual interpretations"
It's a worthy endeavor indeed. If we could do math and graphic design we probably would have attempted it ourselves. But since we can't we'll marvel at Jax's work. Check it out here.
